An international manufacturer of automotive components near Blacksburg, VA is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Department for a small, but growing plant. There are 3 Maintenance Technicians at this time. The Maintenance Manager will be involved in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. His or her responsibilities will include troubleshooting the repair of production and support equipment, leading plant modification and equipment installation projects. The Maintenance Manager must be familiar with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. He or she must also be familiar with Laser Cutting and Press Brake metal fabrication equipment. A Bachelors degree from an accredited university is required, along with at least 3 years of recent maintenance management experience in a busy manufacturing plant. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills are absolutely required for this position. Overnight travel is expected to be minimal. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
