Reporting to the Campus Landscape Architect and working as a member of the Office of University Planning (OUP), the primary role of the Site Planner is to perform work in support of the Campus Landscape Architect, with occasional support to other OUP design/planning functions (transportation planning and architectural programs and projects.) These duties include drafting and sketching of plans (using various mediums) for design and construction drawings, presentation graphics and renderings, assisting with research, studies and reports, and providing occasional on-site photography and other site activities. This position requires a strong knowledge of landscape planning principles and design for the development of precinct plans, visual landscape nodes, social outdoor spaces, and a variety of landscape development and improvements utilizing the Virginia Tech Campus Design Principles. This is a restricted two (2) year position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
