Retail Supervisor Virginia Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Retail Supervisor to assist in overseeing operations for our satellite operations including the Hokie Shops in Lane Stadium on football game days as well as at other various seasonal athletic events and at Dietrick Convenience Store on the Virginia Tech campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and supervising staff as well as merchandising, stocking, and organizing the sales floors. Duties also include register operation, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventories, maintaining security of store to prevent theft, and other duties as assigned. Must possess good communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and provide organizational and register skills. Excellent customer service skills are a must along with the ability to stand for long periods of time. Nights and weekends required. Retail environment with some heavy lifting and pushing. This is a full-time position. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
