Senior Design And Integration Engineer Do you: Enjoy tackling and overcoming difficult and interesting challenges Want to apply your skills to create great new products Prefer working in a culture of trust and respect As the Senior Design and Integration Engineer you will establish concepts and requirements as needed to direct and/or conduct the design efforts in a variety of engineering disciplines to include mechanical (design/analysis), structural dynamics (analysis), electrical (design/analysis), thermal (design/analysis) and rotary motion (control/simulation) leading to development of integrated electromechanical systems and electromechanical motion systems. Based on fundamental engineering principles, you will predict the system level performance of candidate approaches and select the optimum approach to fit the needs of the customer. In this position you will lead an integrated product development team and coordinate the efforts of other engineers to insure timely and successful project completion. You'll track the project progress and report program status to senior level management and understand/interpret customer specifications and requirements. You'll need: A Bachelors or Masters in a mechanical, electrical or aeronautical engineering discipline with five (5) years minimum experience in the design and analysis of precision electromechanical equipment. Strong mechanical design/packaging skills. Good basic electrical skills. Good analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Recent hands on design experience. To be a self-starter, able to work independently of close supervision. To be able to work in team environment. To be able to use CAD/CAE (UG NX is desirable). To be able to perform motion simulations. The knowledgeable of motion control techniques. Experience with bids and proposals is a plus. A degree in physics may be acceptable when accompanied by experience interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines and hands on design experience.
