Production Equipment Setup Technician

-Must be able to show aptitude of mechanical nature and understand how to properly set up and made adjustments to various production machines.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision and work with leadership to endure that production machines are running safely, efficiently, and producing quality products.
-Maintain good housekeeping and observe all company rules including plant health, safety and environmental rules.
-The set-up tech will participate in developing and moitoring procedures to improve line uptime and efficiencies.
-The set-up tech will also use manual, job aids, or guidelines to complete preventative maintenance and minor repairs to packaging equipment.
-Assist with packaging validations )OQ/PQ), component line trials and special projects.
-At times this position requires working closely with the Operation Engineers and Line Leads for line and/or equipment improvements.
-The set-up tech will be expected to be trained and capable of performing all functions expected of an equipment specialist for each area and will be crewed to a line as required.
-This person may be required to work in other departments
-Must be willing to work overtime as required by business needs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
