Rackspace is seeking an experienced Mobile iOS Software Engineer to join the growing team in our Rackspace Cloud division. The position will be responsible developing great mobile experiences for our Rackspace Cloud customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating mobile products and wants to make a positive impact in the next-generation of cloud products.
Responsibilities
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver great mobile experiences on iOS for Rackspace customers
Have general understanding of mobile design patterns and be able to work closely with a user experience design team
Build custom interfaces on iOS
Build robust and easy to use mobile SDKs for other developers to consume
Play an active role working closely with the development team in the definition of API contracts
The ideal candidate will have the following:

years experience developing mobile apps on the iOS platform
3
years of object-oriented software development experience
Excellent knowledge of the product development life cycle, with relevant experience in all phases.
Experience using RESTFul APIs
Experience developing in Objective-C
Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs is a plus
Experienced with multithreaded programming
Experience writing unit tests and testable code
Has worked with Git/Github
Knowledge of iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
Excellent knowledge of the Agile Methodologies like SCRUM product with relevant experience in all phases of a Product Life Cycle.
Good knowledge of the design patterns used in iOS platform
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
