is a well-established engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections.
We are looking for a full-time entry-level CONSTRUCTION FIELD TECHNICIAN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Observing and testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry and asphalt on client's job sites Preparing daily field reports for management review Assisting with laboratory testing and other assigned tasks as needed Daily interaction with clients and team members Required:
High school diploma or equivalent 3 years' experience in construction industry Ability to lift 50 lbs and team lift 70 Ibs Ability to climb ladders Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekends Ability to work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions Computer/Tablet proficiency Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving history Ability to pass background screen Desired:
Work experience in construction industry ACI Concrete Field Grade I Nuclear Safety VDOT Soils and Aggregate VDOT Asphalt Level I & II We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
