PM Supervisor/Cook (Showalter Center)

PM Supervisor/Cook (Showalter Center) Warm Hearth Village Blacksburg, VA Come be the spark at Warm Hearth! We're looking for a FT PM Supervisor/Cook to join the dining team at Showalter Center, our assisted living level I community.
In this position, you'll follow posted menus, monitor the use of food to eliminate waste, and assist the dining team in compliance with dietary policies and standardized recipes.
You'll also work closely with the Dining Services Director to create meals that are tailored to residents' preferences in accordance with established policies and procedures, and provide oversight to other cooks on the team.
Outstanding customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities are key to success in this position.
This is a FT position with varying hours.
Weekend hours will be required, along with occasional holidays.
The expected starting rate for this position is competitive.

Requirements :
At least one year of experience in a kitchen or dining services department Previous experience in a supervisory role An interest in and passion for cooking Preferences :
Previous experience working with elders Recommended Skills Apache Spark Assisted Living Attention To Detail Cooking Customer Service Passionate Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
