00 shift differential Shift:
Monday -Thursday 7pm to 530am.
Possible overtime on Fridays and volunteer overtime on Saturdays.

Job Summary As a Production Associate, your primary responsibility is to oversee the training and coordination process for new hires and employees transitioning to new roles within your department.
You'll also be expected to step into a leadership role when necessary, providing guidance and support to your team in the absence of a coordinator or as directed.
Your focus will be on ensuring that all manufacturing processes are executed safely and efficiently, using a structured lean work and management system.
You'll be responsible for leading your team in responding effectively to abnormal conditions, participating in problem-solving activities to establish sustainable standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within your area of responsibility.
Education and Experience Profile High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year in manufacturing or six months at PHG Blacksburg preferred.
Strongly prefer previous training experience in a manufacturing environment Required Skills Previous SAP experience preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Communication skills Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate Work Environment The job demands repetitive movements and the ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance.
It also requires flexibility to work across multiple shifts and the capability to stand for extended periods of time.
To ensure safety, all prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator, and steel-toed shoes must be worn.
Apart from that, the working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment.
