The Clinician I or II, provides direct interventions to individuals with serious emotional disturbance who may be at risk of self-harm, harming others, and/or who may be expelled from school or sent to a psychiatric or residential facility, foster home, or hospital.
Job duties include providing temporary, intensive services to avert emergency psychiatric hospitalization, institutional admissions, or out-of-home placement.
Services are provided primarily to clients, but may include services to families/care givers as well.
The Clinician provides direct interventions such as counseling, anger management, social skills training, functional analysis, substance abuse screening, parent education (for client's parents or caregivers) and Positive Behavior Supports.
In addition to direct services, the Clinician locates resources to enable the individual to remain and function optimally in his/her community.
Qualifications:
Clinician I:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or other license-eligible human services related field is required.
Registration as a Resident in Counseling or Social Work Supervisee with the Virginia Board of Counseling is required.
At least one year clinical experience working with individuals who have serious mental illness, substance use disorders and/or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) with an acceptable driving record.
Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.
Clinician II:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or other license-eligible human services related field is required.
State of Virginia license is required in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field.
At least on year of clinical experience working with youth who have serious mental illness, substance use and/or developmental disorder is preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) with an acceptable driving record.
Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
