The Clinician I or II, provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities and their family/caregivers.
Also provides counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, assessment, Individual Service Plan (ISP) development, psycho-education, and referrals to consumers and their family/caregivers.
Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, families and/or caregivers, other NRVCS programs, and other community agencies and resources as needed to ensure quality services.
Funded by a YSAT Grant, this position provides Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services using the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (ACRA) therapy as the primary intervention with adolescents and young adults.
Qualifications:
Clinician I:
Graduation form an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other license-eligible human services field is required.
Required to register and become licensed-eligible within 6 months of hire with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
Required to become ACRA Certified within one year of employment.
At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by the agency) with an acceptable driving record.
Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.
Clinician II:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other license-eligible human services field required.
State of Virginia license required in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family or other related field.
Required to be come ACRA Certified within one year of employment.
At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by the agency) with an acceptable driving record.
Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.
SALARY &

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
