1 Full-time 14 hours ago Full Job Description Overview:
The Clinician I or II, provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities and their family/caregivers.
Provides supportive counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, screening and triage, assessment, Individualized Service Plan (ISP) development, psycho-education, and referrals primarily to youth who are on probation or diversion with the 27th District Court Service Unit in Pulaski, VA.
This position may also travel to other sites if necessary.
Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, families and/or caregivers, other NRVCS programs, and other community agencies and resources as needed to ensure quality services.
Qualifications:
Clinician I:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related field is required.
Must be registered as a Resident in Counseling or Social Work Supervisee with the Virginia Board of Counseling within 4 months of hire.
At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is required.
Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by the agency) with an acceptable driving record.
Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.
Clinician II:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related field required.
State of Virginia license is required in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is required.
Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by the agency) with an acceptable driving record.
Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.
SALARY &

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
